We are currently looking at alternative methods where we can offer incentives for water-efficient projects.
One of those ways is to install a 15mm service pipe to developments, allowing a constant flow to the property. The flow provided shall still have enough capacity for all modern-day cons, boilers etc, but will allow a reduced rate of potable water to be present. This should enhance the growth and need for water-efficient products being fitted within properties.
This will be classed as an eco-connection and we are still looking to undertake a methodology for working out a discount.
At a later date, shall a customer choose/wish to remove the water-efficient fittings or require an upgrade, an application will need to be submitted allowing us to undertake a further assessment in order to provide further potable water.
We would like to undertake some trials on new and upcoming sites, further information will be provided shortly.
