Generally, we’ll require a soil report when you’re building on a brownfield site. A soil report is required so that we can ensure correct pipework is used to minimise future risk of contamination of the water supplied.
You can find our soil report guidance here(opens in a new tab).
Once we receive your design for approval, we will return this to you within 14 days of having full and complete information (21 days if the design is considered as complex, of which we will inform you).
If we require any more information from you to approve your design, we will get in touch with you.
You can request your meters at any point during the process if the cost advice has been paid. You can use this form to request us to release your meters. This will be done within XX days of your request.
Please note you are responsible for the safe-keeping of the meter, any lost meters will incur an additional cost.
The meter must be installed at the boundary of the property in the boundary box. Should you wish to install the meter inside the property, please get in touch with our team for more advice.
